SINGAPORE & ONLINE
A space to deepen your roots and find your way forward.
Sometimes, we find ourselves feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected from who we are — even when life looks fine from the outside.
Counselling offers a space to slow down, understand what is happening within, and find a way forward that feels true to you.
Perhaps you’re used to expecting a lot from yourself.
You may be capable, responsible, and accustomed to holding yourself to high standards. Yet beneath this, you might find yourself caught in patterns of perfectionism, self-criticism, people-pleasing, or persistent self-doubt.
You may worry about disappointing others, find it difficult to say no, or feel that what you do is never quite enough. Even when things are going well, it can be difficult to feel truly at ease with yourself.
Perfectionism & High Standards
When you put pressure on yourself to get things right, do more, or keep improving, yet rarely feel that what you do is quite enough.
Self-Criticism & Self-Doubt
When you are quick to notice your mistakes, question your choices, or feel that you should be doing better, even when others see you as capable.
People-Pleasing & Boundaries
When you find yourself prioritising others’ needs, worrying about disappointing people, or saying yes when part of you wants to say no.
Feeling Disconnected from Yourself
When you have spent so much time meeting expectations or adapting to others that it becomes difficult to know what you truly feel, need, or want.
These patterns are not the whole of who you are.
Together, we can become curious about what lies beneath them — and begin to understand yourself with greater compassion.
LOOKING BENEATH THE SURFACE
The patterns that once protected you can sometimes hold you back.
Perfectionism, self-criticism, and people-pleasing often develop for a reason. They may have helped you feel safe, accepted, capable, or in control at different points in your life.
Rather than simply trying to get rid of these patterns, counselling can offer a space to understand them with curiosity and compassion, exploring what they may be protecting, what you truly need, and how you might begin to relate to yourself differently.
Like a tree, meaningful growth is not only about reaching upward. It is also about tending to what lies beneath the surface, developing deeper roots in who you are.
HOW WE CAN WORK TOGETHER
A more compassionate way of understanding yourself.
Counselling is not about fixing who you are. It is a space to slow down, make sense of your experiences, and understand the patterns that may be shaping how you relate to yourself and others.
In our work together, we can explore what is happening beneath the surface with curiosity and compassion.
Understand
Explore the experiences, emotions, and patterns that shape how you see yourself and relate to others
Connect
Develop a more compassionate and connected relationship with yourself, including the parts of you that may feel difficult to accept.
Grow
Begin to make choices that feel more grounded in your needs, values, and the person you want to become.
MEET AURORA
I believe we each have our own way of growing.
I’m Aurora, a counsellor who sees counselling as a process of curious exploration. You do not need to have everything figured out before you begin.
I believe every person carries an innate capacity for growth — just as every seed holds within it the possibility of becoming a tree. Yet how we grow is shaped by the environments and relationships we experience along the way.
In counselling, we can gently explore what lies beneath the surface — understanding what has shaped you, deepening your connection with yourself, and creating space to grow more freely in your own way.
You do not need to become another tree.
You are allowed to grow into your own.
